On the 12th night of December, my cooperating teacher asked me to not just assist him but host the online meeting for the next day. It includes preparation for instructional materials and assessments also. Here is the assessment material that I used. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/18BRL7BGvFYg3VkV78BFek7rOstxdxlrk/edit?usp=drivesdk&ouid=1123

Reflection 1. In your experience of assisting your CT in checking students’ learning outputs, what problems did come across in correcting students’ answers/outputs? We had a virtual assessments and the major problem occured is the absence of students' outputs. Also, some of them are not really doing effort to understand the lesson. We are in a virtual set-up and the way we assessed the students are through online recitations. Some of them have their answers but some of them ignored. Add the fact that not all of the students joined the online meetings.

2. Make an impression on your personal view on how important are assessing learning performance. Assessments are important in teaching because that's the only way we can tell the effectiveness of a teacher. We can only measure the effectiveness of the teaching strategy by assessing the students' acquired knowledge. We are sworn to teach and what would be the sense of teaching if our students are not able to grasp the information we are giving. Hence, a learner cannot be called a learner if he's not learning at all. In the same context, a teacher cannot be called an effective teacher if his/her students are not learning at all.
