I was given a new cooperating teacher since my previous cooperating teacher transferred to a public school. Now I have given my new cooperating teacher, Mr. Joel V. Tangonan, same interview to further know him. He is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Math and has just started teaching again for around 3 months. He's a school teacher of Sta. Ignacia Academy and he handles Mathematics for grades 8, 9 and, 12.

Here's the questions and answers during my interview with him.

Who has inspired you/ helped you to attain your life goals?

My family because they are the source of my strength. Everything I do is for them.

What is your philosophy in education?

Based on the way I teach I think I am essentialist.

What are the different roles of a teacher?

Since we always prioritize learners everytime we teach the ultimate role of a teacher is a facilitator of learning. But they can also be a role model, assessor, planner, and implementer.

What is the current mode of learning offered by your school?

Modular and Online Distance Learning

How were your teaching experiences in this time of pandemic?

It's so challenging not only because this is my first time to teach in a private school but also due to our current situation.

What is your message for future teachers like me?

You should be firm and you should love what you do. You should help your learners realize their full potential, believe in themselves and have a brighter future. You should be selfless and optimistic always. A teacher affects eternity; you can never tell where your influence stops. Inspire them and love them.
