Reflection

1. Describe the classroom. Focus on the resources available inside the classroom.

Since we are using distance learning through online platforms, the classroom is no longer the typical classroom. There are no student chairs and tables. The only table to be seen is the table of a teacher with a monitor and screen where he uses to deliver lessons. The room became spacious due to the absence of students’ necessities. However, there is still a blackboard and bulletin board.

2. Write a narrative of your ideal classroom that can promote active learning. Describe what the classroom should have and what activities make the learners do inside the classroom.

The classroom is spacious receives enough sunlight. Tables with drawers and chairs are complete and arranged systematically. There is a corner where books related to their subjects are available, and there is a students’ locker on the back where they can put or leave their belongings. Based on my sketch, in front, you can see a whiteboard and an LCD for presentation viewing. This is intended for a high school classroom set up so there are not many visual aids.

3. Sketch the interior of your dream classroom that will show the pieces of furniture, various displays, and teaching aids.

1. Expect that you will experience working from home if you will be a teacher soon. Aside from your ideal classroom, describe and sketch your dream work from home setup or home office. The window is on the right side, a printer with a scanner is on the opposite side (not sketched but there is).
